WHO I AM
Xavier Lucas Joyner born October 25, 1993 in Demopolis, AL. He graduated from Widefield High School, Colorado Springs, CO in 2012 and soon after joined the United States Navy where he served on two Los Angeles based submarines as a Sonar Technician.
Growing up, Xavier pursued many activities and hobbies, but it was when his father started cutting his hair that he found his passion to barber. Xavier’s dove into this passion in the Navy and became the "Ships Barber" for his subs’ long deployments.
"Zay" is currently serving shore duty in the Navy (Yorktown, VA) as he still finds time for personal charity and outreach, He is a sought after barber at his shop at The Wright Cuts Family Barber Shop and Salon in Newport News, VA which he also is a co-owner.
